This was painted plein air in the spring of 1980 from around Woodrow Avenue in Santa Cruz. This stretch from Steamer Lane (Lighthouse) to Mitchell Cove is beautiful and always wonderful to walk along. I spent tons of time around here surfing, going to UC Santa Cruz and overall enjoying the beauty that is Santa Cruz.
